This work is part of The Tracy Piper's "SEEN Volume 4," the fourth iteration of a collaborative art project of 50 eye paintings that were made during the Spring of 2025. For this series, the artist organized an open call for her collectors, fans, and fellow artists to be featured as one of her models. Each participant answered the same question: What does it mean to feel seen? Each painting and response is featured in the artist’s fifth book aptly titled “SEEN Volume 4."

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO FEEL SEEN?

"👁️🗨️ am…the son of Ophelia Marie Castro and Ethan Fox Reynolds and big brother to my sister “Bree Bree” Brianna Rae Reynolds. 

And if you look closely you can see I’ve lived through a lot of death. Out lived both parents, sister, grand parents, & uncles. I have endured multiple heartbreaks that would crush a weak mind. Yet I triumphed with pure heart, love & understanding. Within and without my inner circle. A survivor. I’ve worked hard to heal thru my traumas. In ways of movement, music and spiritual practices. I have inspired minds, and hearts that rippled throughout the world….and still seeding. 

I am Generation X, I am fire, I am a Sagittarius, a light worker, your brother, your lover. Your neighbor, your father, I am art in human form, I am music. I carry the star of the gravity point. And sit in between the great transition and birth of computers, cell phones, social media, electric cars and AI.  I’ve seen the lowest parts of myself with addiction to drugs, traumatic bonding and self doubt. I am a Bay Area Warrior.
