ABOUT THE WORK
"When I first came to San Francisco, I affectionately called this "the pastel city" when I saw it's softly diffused colors up on Nob Hill, surrounded by the gentle fog. Since then, I've lived a little over a decade in this beautiful city, and am still in love. But mostly in love with how connected I am with this community of my people. I wanted the hills of San Francisco to feel like braids, woven together and bonded, with gems of beautiful houses and buildings peppering its landscape."—Krystal Lauk
This work is included in the "Urban Tides: A San Francisco Story" group exhibition at Voss Gallery (July 13 - August 17, 2024).
