ABOUT THE ARTIST

Annika Layne (b. 1996) is an American artist who lives and works in Santa Cruz, California.

Inspired by architecture, interior settings, travel, and bygone times, her work explores the intersections of domesticity, daily life, and design. These intersections produce pieces that feel nostalgic and represent her exploration of identity and self-acceptance.

She currently resides in an industrial live/work space with her husband and shaggy dog and enjoys spending time surfing and dabbling in design outside of her creative practice.

HANGING & CARE

Artwork is ready to hang on the wall; hanging wire is secured on the back (nail and hook needed). Dust raw canvas with a clean, soft brush and HEPA-filtered vacuum to clean. Using a new, clean brush prevents transfer of grime from previous dustings.
