ABOUT THE ARTIST

After living in many places, Sonia finally moved to San Francisco in 1974. Shifting from her career as a teacher of French, she began making art and attended the California College of the Arts in Oakland. With studios in Berkeley and Yorkville (Mendocino County), she has been capturing the California light through explorations in oil, watercolor, and collage using figurative, landscape, and still life imagery. She lives with her husband, son, and labrador retriever collecting images of light and translating them, through love, into art.

HANGING & CARE

Artwork is ready to hang on the wall; hanging wire is secured on the back (nail and hook needed). Dust raw canvas with a clean, soft brush and HEPA-filtered vacuum to clean. Using a new, clean brush prevents transfer of grime from previous dustings.
