"I was influenced by the idea of a writer experiencing writer’s block. For an example, a musician trying to complete a song...The composer has everything present from the musical arrangement, to the emotion in the sound, and the beautiful energy that creates the spark to rejoice and sing. The only thing missing are the lyrics to complete the song for your masterpiece. You find yourself exploring for what’s fitting in a language to describe a feeling to be heard, sometimes the search never ends.

The Quadroverse series is a sonic landscape showing a harmonious visual in search of lost words. They show a merger of loud and bold colors of paint and pencil sketches accompanied by broken lyrics to unheard sonnets and songs hidden within the layers of the surface."—David Samuels
