ABOUT THE ARTIST

"Through layers of glitter, plastic, mylar, and spray paint, under resin, I create minimalistic, non-representational abstractions, using universal shapes through the power of color.

My process is thoughtful yet instinctual. Much of the glitter is reclaimed; old boxes of mixed glitter+ swept up, off a previous studio's floor and furnishings, now have donated glitter added to it, and is stored and mixed in a reused, yellow Tidy Cats kitty litter container. Reclaimed surfaces emote beloved Wabi-sabi to modern works."—Steven Stodor

HANGING & CARE

Artwork is ready to hang on the wall; hanging wire is secured on the back (nail and hook needed). Dust raw canvas with a clean, soft brush and HEPA-filtered vacuum to clean. Using a new, clean brush prevents transfer of grime from previous dustings.
