ABOUT THE ARTIST

Shannon Abbey is a contemporary painter who lives and works in Petaluma, California with her cartoonist husband, Pete McDonnell and their son, Jacob. She was born in Eugene Oregon, and raised in Pullman, Washington.

Shannon is inspired by the traditional techniques of Old Masters Portraiture and Contemporary Realism of Northern California. Her paintings are exhibited in numerous private collections and collectors throughout the United States, Australia and in the United Kingdom. She was awarded the 2022 Resident Artist Sperry Chalet in Glacier Nat'l Park Montana.

HANGING & CARE

Artwork is ready to hang on the wall; hanging wire is secured on the back (nail and hook needed). Dust raw canvas with a clean, soft brush and HEPA-filtered vacuum to clean. Using a new, clean brush prevents transfer of grime from previous dustings.
