"For this work, I translated the historical symbolism of flowers in an abstract way. From bottom to top: Cypress symbolizes death, Lemon Balm for sympathy, Daisy Petals for farewell, Chrysanthemum for truth, Hawtorne Berry for hope, and Crown Imperials for majesty, pride and power. As we move through this time with so much turmoil, I try to look forward to the future with hope for change." —Jennifer Banzaca
