ABOUT THE ARTIST

"Art has always been an integral part of my life as I grew up surrounded by it. Both sides of my family are artists; the weavers were on my mother’s side. On my father’s side, the painters. As a little girl, I remember expressing myself through painting and embroidery. I have always been passionate about my art and can’t imagine myself not creating. Being an artist is who I am.

My work is intuitive and most of my inspiration comes from my life journeys, how the world outside affects my inner world. It is the emotion and unconscious collaboration of dreams and visions of where I am in my life at that moment."—Joanna Chrys

HANGING & CARE

Artwork is ready to hang on the wall; hanging wire is secured on the back (nail and hook needed). Dust raw canvas with a clean, soft brush and HEPA-filtered vacuum to clean. Using a new, clean brush prevents transfer of grime from previous dustings.
