ABOUT THE ARTIST

Paul Torres came to the United States from the Philippines in 1987 and grew up in rural Ohio. He received his BFA in Painting & Drawing at The Ohio State University where he found great inspiration for some of my work. He presently resides in San Francisco, California.

"My paintings explore personal nostalgic memories. Coming to terms with one's identity is a process of revisiting the past with the present. How you remember people, events, and moments are at times idealized and vague. HANGING & CARE

Artwork is ready to hang on the wall; hanging wire is secured on the back (nail and hook needed). Dust raw canvas with a clean, soft brush and HEPA-filtered vacuum to clean. Using a new, clean brush prevents transfer of grime from previous dustings.
