"The 'Desert Flowers' are part of the "Ritual Through Diagrams" series. An artistic presentation of a 4-year research through Iranian art and Philosophy. By analyzing traditional Iranian art to reach a simplified and diagrammatic pattern, the art series represents an alternative to the aesthetic repetition that is cherished in Iranian culture to instead celebrate evolution and change. Adopting familiar Iranian culture aesthetics to critique and begin a new conversation and a new perspective." —ZESHT

Arash Archer Firouzi is an Iranian born American architect, artist, and design researcher. Based in San Francisco and working under the pseudonym ZESHT, Archer explores the hidden potential of traditional art forms and examines the possibilities of using them for the contemporary expression of ideas. Archer received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Academy of Art University of San Francisco and holds a Master of Architecture degree from the Architectural Association of London. Using a combination of technologically advanced methods of production with traditional means of expression and craft, the artwork is personal and at the same time objective art manifestation.

Artwork is ready to hang on the wall (two nails or screws needed). Dust with a microfiber cloth to clean.
