"With a playful approach, this work contemplates on the ever-changing interactions of material and immaterial elements (e.g. light). Layers of translucent materials are composed to form rhythmic compositions and interact with light as light is filtered, cast, and reimagined to create spatial wonder. They resemble layered human experience and our inseparable relationship with nature and all beings." —Haoyun Erin Zhao
